A: We run an illegal gambling syndicate, betting on which of our camera directors is going to be eaten first. But seriously - this is often the first question we're asked, probably because we give away all our HD content for free. The short answer is that we survive by selling our content through traditional media channels like television. We produce a number of great shows which are then licensed to broadcasters around the world. If you'd like to know more about these shows, please send an email to sales@earth-touch.com.
A: We're always looking for experienced, dedicated and passionate staff to join us - there's a big shortage of decent wildlife film makers and production staff. Wildlife scriptwriters seem to be harder to find than false killer whales. Please send your resumé and/or showreel to employment@earth-touch.com.
A: Though many of the people working in the field would like us to start an online dating service for them, unfortunately we cannot release any details of our staff members to people we do not know. However, if you're in a remote part of the world and you see an Earth-Touch filming vehicle, please feel free to say hello and have a chat with the team if they're not filming.
A: There are lots of bugs on the site - spiders, termites, etc (sorry, bad joke). We continually strive to make the online experience of Earth-Touch.com as smooth as possible but there are always a few things that go wrong. We apologise in advance and know it can be frustrating - especially when the error occurs in the last five seconds of a 200MB download. Please let us know of any errors or omissions you come across while using the site. It really helps us improve the online experience. Please drop a mail with a brief description and details of which browser and operating system you're using to bugs@earth-touch.com.
A: Yes, of course, we love exposure - especially when it is free. All you have to do is let us know exactly which material you need and where you'll be showing it, and 99% of the time we give permission to do so. If you're writing for Lion Hunter Monthly, chances are you'll be in the 1% we don't give permission to.
A: Yes, we're interested in any environmental or wildlife content leads you may have. Perhaps you've seen something you'd like to share with the world. If it fits in with our content aims, we'd love to film it in HD. Dogs performing tricks, domestic cats and goldfish need not apply.
A: We're going to add a section on our site that will cover our equipment in detail (without giving away all our secrets). We also plan to feature some camera tips and tricks for those of you out there who want to improve your wildlife filming skills.
